Advance Ear Notes
Perhaps-the-most-over-hyped-band-since-Al-Gore-kindly-invented-the-Internets-but-still-pretty damn-good Clap Your Hands Say Yeah just added some new dates to their tour including a stop at the Earl October 15th with Ambulance LTD which we're pretty confident will be awesome. Period.
Matador just released a bunch of new tour dates. The New Pornographers will be at the Variety Playhouse in Little Five Points with Immaculate Machine and Destroyer on Monday, October 17th. The Double and the Fiery Furnaces will be at the 40 Watt Club in Athens on Tuesday, September 20th.
Four Tet also announced tour dates including a visit to the Earl on September 16th.
And New York gets yet another music festival. The Pixies, Beck, Oasis, the Killers, Gang Of Four, Jet, Belle & Sebastian and the New York Dolls have all signed on for the Across the Pond concerts at Keyspan Park in Brooklyn and Richmond County Bank Ballpark onthe garbage dump Staten Island on October 1st and 2nd.
