Newsflash: FAB is a Snobby JAP
Fat Asian Baby recently became privy to the fact that she, along with two of her best friends in Atlanta, were collectively referred to as East Cobb Snobs. Now, not being native to the Atlanta metropolitan area, we weren't totally familiar with all the finer nuances that this term actually implied, though we had a pretty good idea that it was gonna be fairly awesome.
So we looked it up on urbandictionary.com where we learned the following:
Now, we think we may have mentioned at one point in time or another that, in reality, FAB actually hails from a wee village in Westchester County called Scarsdale.* The beauty of all this East Cobb Snobbery business is that, according to urbandictionary.com, being from Scarsdale trumps East Cobb from, like, every direction, position, and penetrable orifice.
And
And FAB's personal favorite:
So despite appearing more like what others might label urban hipster poseur, there was no fooling that rather perceptive Atlantan flinging locally colorful slurs upon deaf ears; you can take the girl out of Scarsdale but you can't take the Scarsdale out of, oh whatever.
Boom.
*Actually, FAB is not really FROM Scarsdale. We actually grew up on the wrong side of the tracks (in multi-racial and socioeconomically diverse White Plains. Boo!) but did go K-12 in the Scarsdale Public School system, so we're probably scoring pretty high on the snob-o-meter regardless.
